✨Using My Writer’s Eye✨

Hey GrowingWriters! ✨ It’s Nishel here, and I’m so excited to share this bright and creative classroom display designed to inspire young writers! 💛

This colourful bulletin board is titled “Using My Writer’s Eye”, and it helps students remember all the important things good writers do. At the center is a giant pencil cutout that answers the question “What Do Writers Write?”  listing ideas like stories, poems, letters, lists, thank-you notes, reminders, journal entries, and important thoughts. Surrounding the pencil are fun posters with adorable cartoon characters that remind students about key writing conventions , like using capital letters, adding punctuation, leaving finger spaces, and checking that words match the picture. At the bottom, there’s a row of grammar visuals showing sentence types (Telling, Asking, Exciting) and parts of speech such as noun, verb, and adjective. The bold blue background and red ruffled border make the display pop, creating an inviting and encouraging writing corner. It’s not just colourful, it’s a functional teaching tool that motivates students to write with confidence and creativity! 📝😁
