This week, I learned about paraphrasing and summarizing, two important skills for understanding and expressing information in my own words. I discovered that paraphrasing helps me restate ideas clearly while keeping the original meaning, and summarizing allows me to condense long passages into shorter, main-point versions. Practicing these skills improved my reading comprehension and made me more confident in sharing ideas accurately and effectively. I also realized that careful word choice and attention to details are essential to avoid changing the meaning of the text.
