Dear Santa,

            Every Christmas, you bring me the best gifts. But this year, I would like my gift at a different time. I would like a gift for Halloween. It is a pumpkin.

            I know you will say no because working with pumpkins is messy. But if you get me a pumpkin, I will be responsible and clean up after myself.       Also, to stay on the “Nice List”, I will use some of my own money to help you get me a pumpkin from the market. I do not want to eat it because it will be my Halloween gift. Lastly, giving me a pumpkin as a gift for Halloween will encourage creativity through pumpkin carving. I will be very careful because I know knives are hazardous.

Please Santa, if you get me a gift for Halloween, I will not ask for a gift for Christmas. My gift is unusual, but it is unique. Thank you so much.
