Music in the Square Poem
Hey, I’m Nishel Blackmoore! Today I’m excited to share a fun and lively poem with you called “Music in the Square.”This poem celebrates the joy, rhythm, and movement that music brings to our everyday lives. As you read, imagine yourself standing in the middle of a busy town square, listening to the sounds, feeling the beat, and watching everything come alive. I hope this poem inspires you to notice the music all around you, whether it’s in your neighborhood, your classroom, or your own heartbeat. Enjoy!
Music in the Square
Music fills the square, floating through the air,
Children laugh and skip without a care.
Drums go boom, guitars go strum,
Voices join together, hear them hum!
Music fills the square, shining in the night,
Old folks sway and tap with delight.
Bells ring, whistles sing, everyone cheers,
The melody spreads, chasing away fears.
Music fills the square, soft and sweet,
Friends gather round, tapping their feet.
Songs of joy, songs of fun,
Music in the square for everyone.
