Examples of student-centered writing
Hey everyone! We are all familiar with the concept of student-centered learning. But have you heard of student-centered writing? Well, below is a list of examples of student-centered writing.
- Personal narratives - students write about things personal to them
- Reflective journals or learning logs - reflection on what students have learnt and how they feel about it
- Choice based writing projects - students choose their own topics or genres
- Peer collaboration - students work together
Using students centered writing helps to promote students' interest in writing. These are just a few examples as I know there are so many more. If you know of any, add them to the list.

Great post! It truly empowers creativity and voice.
ReplyDeleteHi! I really like your examples of student-centered writing. Personal narratives and reflective journals are great because they let students express themselves and connect learning to their own experiences. Choice-based projects and peer collaboration are also awesome ways to make writing more engaging and meaningful.
